Purpose of the Veterans Committee

The UAW Local 249’s Veteran’s Committee is dedicated to serving not only veterans of our union, but throughout the community as a whole. The aim is to serve them whether they are in crisis, in need of someone to listen and talk to or more physical and concrete assistance such as food or shelter.

The committee is looking for UAW veterans willing to help donate their time in support of our military vets both within the union and in the communities we live in. If this sounds like something you would be interested in, then this might be the best fit for you!
